Greetings Beta Alpha Psi Faculty Advisors, Co-Faculty Advisors and Chapter Officers!
2006 VITA Program
Chapters that participated in the Vita Program should submit their results via email as soon as possible to Robin Taylor, VITA Program Coordinator at robin.taylor@irs.gov and cc: Nancy Nichols, Director of Program for Chapter Activities at nicholnb@jmu.edu.
New BAP Videos
BAP videos for recruiting members and for schools interested in petitioning a BAP chapter are currently available (http://www.bap.org/videos/index.htm). If you know of any schools that are interested in petitioning for a BAP chapter please direct them to the URL listed above. The student recruitment video can be used to introduce potential members to the organization.
Pledge Dues
Any chapter with outstanding pledge dues or annual maintenance fees should remit payment to the Executive Office immediately. Membership certificates can not be created unless pledge fees have been paid. For those chapters ordering certificates you must allow up to 3 weeks from the time the pledges are submitted for initiation and the pledge dues have been paid to receive certificates. If overnight night delivery is desired be sure to include an additional fee of $25.00 along with the payment.
Year End Reports/Chapter Information
We are encouraging chapters to upload year end documents earlier than the given due date. This will allow the Executive Office ample time to review the records and complete the Outstanding Chapter Awards and Chapter Information section of the Annual Report. An email containing the Chapter Information records and the International Scholars listing were sent out last week. It is imperative that we receive corrections before May 17, 2006. Changes received after the due date WILL NOT be printed in the Annual Report. All changes should be emailed to vpage@aicpa.org.
