Hello everyone!

We hope that all of you had a wonderful summer.  With the start of the new academic year we want to keep you informed with the following:

1. Superior Chapter Plaques
   Congratulations to all the chapters who achieved Superior status. If you need a plaque to display your superior chapter plate please email the Executive Office at bap@bap.org no later than September 30th.  We will order all the plaques together in one order.
2. BAP Calendar – 2008-2009
   The BAP calendar for 2008-2009 has been updated and posted to the website. The basic Regional Conference information is available.  Hotel and registration information will be updated shortly.
3. Reminder – Beginning of the Year Report is due October 15th

5. Government Finance Case Competition
1. AGA is in the process of marketing their second annual government finance case challenge for undergraduate accounting, business and finance students. The competition is a free, online event that begins on Oct. 6.
2. Students will offer a 10-page or less response to a case constructed by our team about a government financial management issue.
3. If you have a chance, please visit www.agacgfm.org/challenge to learn more about the competition.
6. e-Postcard – Form 990N – If you haven’t filed yet – please do so immediately. (This is for US chapter’s with revenue less than $25,000)
   1. How to file:  Link: http://epostcard.form990.org/. When you access the system, you will leave the IRS site and file the e-Postcard with the IRS through our trusted partner, Urban Institute. The form must be completed and filed electronically. There is no paper form.
   2. Once you receive the email confirmation, please forward to the Executive Office to: bap@bap.org .
